Master of Sprites - sprite editor for commodore 64 sprites
A downloadable editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Java editor for Commodore 64 sprites. My small alternative for SpritePad.
Features
- Advanced preview with support for animations, sprite overlay and multi sprites made from a few connected single sprites.
- All basic sprite operations: sliding in all four directions, horizontal and vertical flip, reflecting, rotation and negation.
- Sprite operations available also for all sprites in selection range (by corresponding command from selection menu).
- 4 different modes of ghost skinning.
- 5 small example projects - good to test how everything works.
- Clipboard support with capability to copy/paste sprites between separate application windows or instances.
- Short manual included in the help menu.
- Undo/Redo mechanism.
- Ability to export projects in batch mode - now you can export sprite projects from level of makefile or shell script.
- Export to raw binary, prg file, assembly source code or image file (useful if you want to reap graphics from a memory dump; png, jpg and bmp files supported).
- Work time counter to see how long you were working on particular sprite project.

Install instructions
For version 1.0 there are available msi installer for windows and deb package for ubuntu - if you choose them they should make everything works automatically without installing anything separately.
If you are using different operating system or want to try older version or want smaller file to download then choose jar file - it should runs on every operating system but if you have installed Java Runtime Environment.
Java Runtime Environment can be found here: https://www.java.com
